There are a wealth of sponsorship and speaker opportunities around
National Freelancers Day 2011, last year our campaign reached 1 million
people across the UK via online, social media and local and national
events.
The brand National Freelancers Day has come on leaps and bounds from its inception two years ago with endorsements from businesses across the UK.
Want to show your support for the UK’s freelancers? Here’s how...
Organise or sponsor a local event for freelancers
An NFD Meet-up (#NFDMeetup11) can be anything from a formal workshop on freelancing to a networking session.
We can support where required with advice and guidance on format, location. Your event and logo will be publicised on the calendar to ensure we get freelancers on board and at the event.
PCG has a set of Mastermind packs that were developed last year, these help to structure rewarding events that are great fun to run and fully scalable to the number of freelancers that you can attract.

Sponsor the 'fit to freelance' quizWhat is it?A 10 question quiz to test the knowledge of the freelance nation. Are you a freelance ninja, or do you have a way to go yet? It’s loads of fun, but also has a serious dimension, helping to spread best practice in the industry. To get the questions right you need to be a true professional!
How it works? You embed the quiz on your own website to show your association with NFD 2011. You email all the freelancers on your list and point them to the quiz on your website. And here’s the best bit: it’s free to sponsor it!
How does it benefit you?It gives you valuable content and a compelling reason to email your customers and prospects, directing them to your site. You also benefit from the viral potential of the quiz as people forward it to their friends and send them your way. People who complete the quiz on your site will be spending several minutes engaged in a mental activity surrounded by your branding. So much more effective than an advert! It also creates a very firm association between your brand and National Freelancers Day, showing that you appreciate the value of freelancing. In addition we will be providing a link to supporting companies with a brief 50 word profile on the supporters page on the National Freelancers Day website.
Why is it free?By doing this it helps us raise awareness for National Freelancers Day and the work that PCG is doing for the freelance community – you benefit, we benefit.
Interested?Simply type ‘we’re fit to support freelancers’ to
FitToFreelance@pcg.org.uk and we will send information about to how to set up the quiz.
Or simply add a link and RT, like and forward National Freelancers Day to your community
