NFD 2011 - The Winning Webshort

Webshorts are pleased to announce that the National Freelancers Day WebShorts Competition judges have come up with a winner for the WebShorts Giveaway Competition..

Firstly, we must say a huge thank you to everyone who entered our crazy little competition and made it such a HUGE success!!

We received A LOT of entries, so our judges have really had their work cut out over the last few days, reading through them all, scoring the entries against the original brief and desperately fending off any offers of bungs and bribes. (All brown envelopes were returned to sender unopened)

Many of the entries embraced the CREATIVE APPROACH we requested, and without exception, we can truly say that every single entry really captured the concept, spirit and essence of the WEBSHORT which is just brilliant, and exactly what we wanted.

There can only be one winner however and so after much deliberation, some LOVELY SCONES and a lot of strong coffee, it was decided that the FREE WEBSHORTwould be awarded to Caluna.

Caluna are a leading integrated sales and marketing company, and for the last 15 years, they have helped over1,000 companies with their sales and marketing strategies.

The judges felt that the entry from Caluna was really GENUINE in it's style, INTELLIGENTLY WRITTEN in terms of the scope of the competition and also offered lots of creative options for the WebShort we will produce for them.

We are genuinely excited to be working with Caluna and we look forward to helping them communicate their PASSION, intellect and personality in new and engaging ways.
